Curious fact about cleaning

Which normal housewife has not complained at least once from the huge piles of dirty dishes that are waiting for her in the sink, of all the laundry, that should be washed, hung and ironed; of all the dust, that must be wiped? All these duties which we have to perform every day take so much of our precious time...

It is true that the housework can become more than annoying obligation at some point. But let's take a look from the point of the facts, related to the process of cleaning. It might become clearer to you why cleaning is so important, and it can even become interesting. Look at these curious facts:
  • How much is the average time you spend on cleaning? One-two-three hours or even more? Think about how many times you make squats and how many walks you take to the sink, how many times stretch and put your muscles under a pressure. It turns out that in two hours of domestic work and walking around the house while performing it you had burned more than 200 calories.
  • Have you ever thought about where does all this dust on furniture and on the shelves comes from, when you have already changed the old window frames? It turns out that around 70% of what we call home dust, is in fact dead epidermal cells provided from our own bodies.
  • Cleaning of the house is not only important from an aesthetic standpoint, but also it is very important for your health. If you do not maintain basic hygiene in your home, you can create perfect conditions for appearance and development of variety of allergies and diseases. The average citizen spends about 87% of their time indoors. If germs are lurking from everywhere, well... this will make our life more difficult, than it already is.
