Solar Power – to have or not to have

If you have recently been to Southern England, you must have seen one new tendency in housing there. Almost half of the homes there are covered with the very popular solar panel these days. The great location and the appropriate direction of the sunlight in Southern England make people here rely on the Solar Power technology to provide more eco-friendly and more affordably both – electricity and hot water. So, what do you think – Solar Power – to have or not to have?
  • Solar panels – they are mostly used and created products of the contemporary Solar Power technology. These panels are similar to radiators, but they heat liquid by collecting the needed power for heating from the sun, not from electricity plugs.
  • Photovoltaic panels and tiles – they are even more efficient and profitable. These panels and tiles provide electricity to ordinary consumers by using special silicone cells, which are neatly integrated to the roof and quickly “remake” natural sunlight.
  • The appropriate home for Solar Power – your house should not be overshadowed by trees or other buildings. Besides, the house must be also located either in the south coast, or towards east or west, but in a sunny region. The degree of the slope of your roof must be also considered. It is very costly to get a Solar Power system, when you build up a new house or you repair the roof.
  • Is the Solar Power completely legal for everybody? – Of course, it is. What kind of government will ban alternative methods for providing energy and necessary resources for living? Only few areas in England and in Europe at all may be listed in a specific register that requires permission for having a Solar Power system.
  • Professional installment or DIY project – the truth is that if you are good in repairs, building or DIY projects, you may be able to do your personal Solar Power system at home. Of course, there are also authorised agencies and single consultants, who may help during the entire process – from the very beginning plan to the installment.
