You are about to travel by plane? Don't let fear ruin your trip. The plane is still the most convenient and fast vehicle. However, air travelling is really safe, many people are frightened, when they have to use this kind of transport. Of course, as every fear and this must be overcome.

Here are a few tips that will help you to stop worrying unnecessarily:
  • The more information, the greater the certainty – If you look at some statistics, it appears that plane is the safest vehicle, with a minimum of accidents and at least the victims. This is something that you must consider and remember every time when you have such a trip. This will help you to control your insecurity and anxiety. Most of your fears are due to lack of interest;
  • Be on time at the airport – Distribute your time in the best possible way. Do your housework – domestic cleaning and etc. Prepare your luggage carefully. It is very important to go to the airport on time, and even earlier. Rushing would cause more stress. You don’t need that, do you? Therefore it is best to leave home earlier, so you will have time to relax and “adapt” mentally for the upcoming flight;
  • Look for something to distract you – A very good way to get over anxiety is trying to dispel. You can enjoy some music. It creates positive emotions and reduces the negative ones. You must prepare a good collection of soothing music to listen to during the flight, mostly on landing and takeoff, which are usually the most stressful. A good book can also be a very nice distraction. Another way to stop thinking about your fear is to establish a conversation with the person, sitting, next to you;
  • Get rid of negative thoughts – It is true that plane crashes happen. If you compare them, however, with thousands of flights that are conducted daily, the number of incidents is minimal. So don’t think about the worst things;
  • When there is turbulence breathe deep – Planes can be shaken when passing through unstable areas. Remember that pilots are prepared for any emergency cases, so there's nothing to worry about;
  • Avoid extremes – It is not good to drink and eat too much;
  • Feel comfortable – choose clothes, which make you feel comfortable. If the flight is too long, you can stand up and walk for a while.
