Things you should not put in the washing machine

In recent years, the washing machine is the best friend of housewives. It can be found in every household. Nowadays the machine is not a luxury, but a necessity.

Hardworking machine not only washes clothes better than scrubbing by hand, but leaves enough time for women to have more enjoyable activities.

Washing machine is not a fairy. It does not wash absolutely everything you can think of. Opposite. There are some things that if you put in the washing machine, they will no longer have the same appearance. Here is a list of prohibited things for washing machine.

  • Powder for hand washing: Don’t put it in the washing machine. It makes a lot of foam, which can overload the motor.
  • Clothes with oil stains: Don’t put clothes or shoes stained with oil in the washing machine. If the tissues are stained with gasoline and solvents, better pretreat the stain until it comes out, and then run the entire garment in the washing machine.
  • Heavy metal buckles: Do not run blouses and trousers with heavy metal buckles. They can become the cause of rust on the inside of the machine and damage the drum or the manhole.
  • Too much clothes: Do not overload the washing machine with clothes. This will not only trouble the internal side, but can also lead to other more serious problems later.
  • Shoes? Do not wash shoes that are not made of fabric. Otherwise, patent leather or leather material will no longer look like the original.
  • Be careful with knitting. Not all knit and woven shirts can be washed in a washing machine. Labels are always indicated.
  • Official dresses: Be careful with the sophisticated costumes, shirts, trousers and jackets. They all are made of a gentle fabric, that’s why it’s too dangerous to put them in the washing machine, no matter of the program type.
It is interesting to note that in USA instructions for use of the washing machines is written that pets must not be washed. No matter how ridiculous you think it is, there are some cases that have forced manufacturers to give similar instructions for use.
